If yao is at that game book that as a win.....think about that 16....and with the next 4 games it should be 21!!! very nice.
The win streak should be exactly what it is... it is tough to win 16 in a row. Over that span, we are 2-1 versus elite teams. That sounds fine without making excuses. Our schedule has been favorable.
And if we hadn't choked against New Orleans, Philly, and maybe even Boston, the win-streak could be 23 or even 24.
Translation: "If we were good enough, the win-streak could be 23 or 24." We're good, but we haven't done anything yet that makes us better than San Antonio, Phoenix, Los Angeles, or Boston.

Eh, appriciate the good-feel type of thread...God knows we need to have some of these to counter the "MAC SUCKS/YAO IS SOFT" threads. But really, what you're saying is that if the Rockets would've won 82 games, if only they had won 82 games.
Impressive streak. However, I have to say, there are only about 3 quality wins, Spurs, GSW, and Hornet. The rest of them are NBA trash. We must win consistently against other top WC teams, including Suns, Jazz, Mavs, Lakers.
So leme get this straight. You would rather they split these games? I mean what does it matter? The only wins that count are against teams above .500? Also we beat the cavs, meets your requirement; above .500! great news, the rockets have won 4 in a row!
How do you know that? Before last night, would you have added New Orleans to that list? Did you think we we're going to win by 20? I think we're already as good as those teams. The only one that I think might be better is LA.
