Who should I cut to make 15 players? I am in a 11 team, 11 category league...... I just wanted your input on what free agent bench players I should hold on to....... Here is my roster........ Kevin Durant Mike Bibby Michael Beasley Elton Brand Drew Gooden Yao Ming LaMarcus Aldridge Charlie Villanueva Allen Iverson Francisco Garcia Rodney Stuckey Tyrus Thomas Earl Watson Stephen Jackson Luke Ridnour Some of the notable Free Agents include.......... Wilson Chandler Mario Chalmers Andrea Bargnani Russell Westbrook Jamaal Tinsley Marc Gasol I just wanted your guys opinion on my guys and if a guy like Wilson Chandler should be on my team in front of another............guy?
It all comes down to whether you gamble or not. Chandler is hyped out of this world, but I don't see it. I see nothing. Watson/Ridnour is your weak link, okay... But Watson could see 25mpg easy, even though Westbrook looks solid. Ridnour is an X-Factor guy who could play 30+mpg and have a breakout year in the east or be replaced by Sessions. I would stick with what you have and not worry about Chandler. All hype IMO.
Yup, as you can see my bigs are pretty solid but I have to shore up my PG. Allen Iverson Mike Bibby Rodney Stuckey Then I have........... Watson/Ridnour If I can get 1 of those guys to produce then I am good, especially Luke..... But I am soooo tempted to pick up Chandler for Earl.......
Wilson Chandler has a lot of fantasy hype no question - but he is at LEAST worth a 13/14th man spot on any roster. He should flourish in the D'Antoni system. Along with Nate, Duhon, Lee - alot of Knicks will see increased fantasy value. You would imagine NY will get at LEAST 10-15 more possessions per game.
Bibby's actually a solid PG. It makes me look weird for saying this, but Bibby is all upside this year, especially if you get him in or later than the 8th round (standard 12 man league).
