Will beating the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City make you feel all warm and fuzzy????

Eating your words on Rudy, Cat, Steve, hell even Keith Jones tomorrow when you post an apology thread telling everyone that you were wrong and that you still love the Rockets..........

.........And call yourself a fan again?????

It is much easier to pick out the negatives my friends.....

    Keep the Peace...... Go Rockets.

Well, considering we'll still only be 1/2 game ahead of the Lakers and won only four games out our last eleven...ummm, NO!

This team deserves every word of criticism right now...biggest disappointment in the entire league outside of the LA Clippers and will probably be the biggest disappointment in franchise history when it's all said and done...

No, you must wish for the Rockets to lose tonight to force a 'major shakeup'. That is what being a true fan is all about.

No. A win tonight won't solve what ails the Rockets. Their problems are systemic and need a real solution rather than a simple patch up. And it doesn't mean that you're not a fan just because you criticize your team.

A win tonight will certainly help. I just wanna see Utah fans get disappointed like we did last night.

the rox won't be ahead of the lakers after tonight game because they are going to lose. why? the rox is a much better team at home than on the road. unless mobley and griffin step up their games, the rox will fall to the jazz again.

just because we criticize certain players and coach doesn't mean we hate them. we, passionate rox fans, want our team to do well, so we expect the players to give their all for every single game and win games and the coach to make the right decisions, putting the players in the best possible opportunity to win games. if they don't perform to their abilities, we have the right to be critical of them -- all of them that includes yao.

I don't care if they can beat Jazz tonight. Too many factors can decide the outcome. If the Rockets play like last night for the rest of the season but still can't make playoff, I can live with it. They'll get better and better if they keep playing team ball.

Flaming hata hate will still burn bright. Off the court, best wishes.

I expect much more from them.

Demand more in your life. You have low expectations, you'll never get much. This team has 2 allstar starters. Damn. They suck at using them.

Actually, a Rockets loss tonight might be really good for the team. The Lakers are playing the McNuggets tonight, a game the champs should win. So a Rockets loss along with a Lakers win means we are no longer in the top eight.

It may be nothing, but it just might what this team needs. The Rockets seem to thrive when they are forced to fight.

Wtf are you smoking dude. Besides having the best turnaround season in the league, we have an awesome young talent who is performing way above expectations. A-Train - stop bein so pessimistic man, you ranting about things that dont happen do NOT help the Rockets win, so try bein a supportive fan.

You guys just don't get it!!! How can you call yourselves fans and the rest of us "fairweather"? Those of us you call "haters" are PISSED OFF RIGHT NOW!!

The Rox and all their players, coaches and personnel did a good job of convincing everyone that would listen that ANYTHING BUT THE PLAYOFFS WOULD BE CONSIDERED A FAILURE!!!

If you believe that accepting FAILURE and UNDERACHEIVMENT makes you a better fan than me, then you can take this thread and file it under "I don't give a damn!!"

If we win tonight, I will be happy about the win, but it will not suddenly mean that all is well in the Rockets Universe!!

Having said that, a road victory tonight could be a big step toward learning how to win on the road, and could MAYBE be a first step toward turning this sinking ship around!!!

Stevie haters will find something to gripe about. I think he should put it up at will tonight. He's on.

    Peace plan:

    1. The haters relax about the Rockets.
    2. The hater haters relax about the haters.

Nobody here hates the Rockets except trolls. We all want to make the team better. We just disagree about how to do that.

As for rooting for losses, all of us who have said at one time or another that we're certain the Rockets will lose, or that it'd be better if they went ahead and lost, know what's really going on: We can't stand the pain and are trying to make it bearable by preparing for it psychologically, or rationalizing it as part of a cure.

It just hurts, that's all, and sometimes people say things they don't really mean, like pulling away from somebody you think is going to leave you. Take a deep breath and give the "haters" a break.

I would say the way we win tonight(playing hard on both ends for 48 minutes) is a step in the right direction.

    Lookin' good...
