Very possible, I like what I saw from delhomme, he had one mistake and that was the fumble. He is savvy and has veteran experience. He also is not afraid of throwing the ball down the field from time to time.

If Yates comes out struggling delhomme should replace him.

i would seriously feel a lot more comfortable with delhomme starting... looked solid enough and knowing he has playoff experience is a HUGE plus.

You should edit if you can to make a poll to see what people think.

I think if Yates looks flustered he might be pulled based on how Delhomme looked.

I liked how Delhomme played today. Yates has proven more efficient, though, in my opinion. Yates doesn't try to push throws too much, and Delhomme tried to fit a few balls into areas that were kind of tight today. I think turnovers are key next week, so I don't know.

I would say Yates should be on a short leash, but given Kubiak's loyalty to players, I don't know if he will be.

That's a recipe for a loss. Yates got us 3 wins until we clinched and Kubiak decided to cut down half the playbook.

i liked what a saw from Delhomme also. he actually looked down the field on more than one drive. he doesn't require the boot leg to make the big plays.

C'mon, this is Gary "we're going with our guys" Kubiak here. As long as he doesn't completely crater, Yates will be the QB. No short leash, Yates will be given every opportunity to succeed.

The kid was 4-4 for over 50 yards on the TD drive, and you guys want to bench him for the guy whose fumble allowed the Titans to get back into the game, and couldn't run 5 yards for an easy TD when given 15 seconds to find a WR.

I don't know why exactly, but Mathis abusing Winston completely wiped all memory of Yates' game against ATL out of this subforum's mind.

No AJ and an absurdly conservative gameplan shut down the passing game.

A leash should not be required Delhomme should get the start.

We'll see Delhomme in the 2nd half next week anyway since Yates has been figured out. Might as well start him at the beginning of the game.

Delhomme looked way more comfortable throwing the ball than Yates and his throws were not sailing high either.

That being said, you roll with Yates.....and live with the results.....

Yates looked impressive on the first drive against the Colts...The only way you put Delhomme in is if Yates starts with turnovers. Yates has proven to be efficient with half a plate to work with and will this time have it complete. btw- hoping Casey plays more at TE - he looked very well
