    What do you guys think?

    Better ?

    Worse ?

Will TMAC be willing to forego his ego, make sacrifice, less time with the ball on his hand, more passing and no-ball movement, more intensity in defense, more pnentration, less ill advised jumpers and to adapt/gel to the system, rather to let the system to adapt and gel with him?

    My personal opinion >>> NO
    Why?

    1. He does not run the fast break at all.
    2. He plays the point duties to much. (Why even have a PG?) Rafer just runs up the court only to wait for T-mac then hand him the ball.
    3. He cannot move without the ball.
    4. Our players just stand there while T-mac iso's
    5. He does not drive to the basket enough.
    6. Leads to his FT% which is horrible for someone with his status.
    7. Injury prone
    8. Our team needs ball movement to be effective. T-mac will reduce this if he is on the court.

But he will have his moments where nobody can stop him and give you 30 10 5. :D

Positive! I have faith in you, T-Mac. Shut the haters up with your performance.

I don't get why people keep saying that T-mac plays too much point duty, it's not like that he wants to. I believe he would be happy to let rafer do it since rafer has been amazing for the past two weeks. T-mac can save himself some energy by just scoring so that he could drive to the rim more and play more defence.

Hopefully yes. But even if he doesn't, we're still better with him than without.

positive. We've been playing well with out him, but don't get too excited. Look at the teams we have beaten in this streak.

wow I will forget what I've seen and been too for the past 3 years if you what you say is true. If that is the case you got yourself a championship team.

It's not that I don't want T-mac to have the ball. It's the nights where he is 1 for 8 and doesn't do anything else except try to shoot out of his slump

If we dont change the way we are playing now when tmac's back. obviously we will be better with him.

    Isn't this BBS too high?
We are just having easy scheduele, remember?
We beat twice worse team in the NBA , mediocre Wizards and Magic with questionable last second tip!
I'm not trying to minimize these W, but you can't say your game will be worse when your star player steps in and helps.
    I've never seen Kobe,Artest,Francis ego from T-Mac.
Remember? He wants to WIN and he proved it not to build up his stats, I'm wondering would you say this if Yao was out?!

but it doesn't mean we cant beat tough ones, since everyone put energy in d, but when tracy 's back, can u guarantee he would try his best to match up? save it if u want to say he's been putting too much energy in offence, look what kobe does, what paul pierce does, they dive to save the ball, but tracy doesn't

I agree that he should work on his shot selections, he should drive to the rim more when his shots are not falling. My problem is that people make it like he is a ballhog or something. Tmac is not a selfish player,he sees how we play without him lately and I believe he is willing to change to fit in.

T-Mac handled the ball so much under JVG because he was asked to do that. Rafer wasnt near the finisher he is now. Head had no ability to penetrate.

T-Mac was asked to handle the ball so much during the losing streak because Adelman asked him to. He thought going back to more familiar sets and plays that the team ran with JVG would get the guys more comfortable shots and they would start going in. He was wrong, and admitted as much by refocusing on running his offense.

It's all depends on the coach. Adelman needs to determine his role and
carve out his game so that he can contribute.

Just curious -- did you ask the same question when Yao came back from his injury last year?

Fran Blinebury's blog. He claims that McGrady has privately expressed the opinion that Adelman's offense won't work with our team.

I remember people saying Yao slowed us down last year when we played great without him. I also remember how Tmac defended Yao by saying that we would only be better when he came back.

He may make us better, he may not... Bottom line is-
We can't beat an elite West team without him...

Its the close losses to Orlando and Boston that probably have the BBS so hopeful.
