That's a good question. Man, I sure as hell hope so. I think as the season progresses, barring major setbacks, it will get close. The doctor's are saying it's fine, and that it's more of a strength issue. Also, people tend to forget the "mental" side of it as well. Mentally, Tracy looks as unconfident as could be a lot of the time. Physically he looks slow and not "back" yet. However, at times he's exploded to the basket and for quick moments looked great again. Time for us to be patient and hope for the best..
People's sarcasm is pissing me off around here...alot of what people try to say gets totally lost in it, thus contributing nothing to the thread.
It'll get better. Just relax and be patient. Kobe's been wearing a knee brace ever since he got surgery on his knee, but you see the way he's playing. Tracy'll be alright.
I fully agree! I hate that I'm becoming the "don't bash the rockets czar", but the constructive criticism is getting lost in the weak attempts at negative humor.
I doubt it, he's just going to have to get 100% mentally on the fact that his kness is going to continue to bother him.
i have a feeling most nba players have something or another that is not 100% and probably never will be again.
"It's going to take (McGrady) some time -- you hope it's just going to get better as he doesn't have pain or anything," Rockets coach Rick Adelman said. "But it's definitely affected him and it certainly affects us, too, because we're so used to him with the ball in his hands and finding people." like i've said, the problem isn't the knee. he just needs to keep playing and build on it. rest is not going to help him at all. sacrifice the struggling now, for a healthier tracy later on.
Nothing about T Mac will ever be 100 percent again, and I strongly suspect some parts of him have never been 100 percent to begin with.
