We all saw the AWSOME game we played against the Lakers, probably the best this team has ever played, but my question is w/ the trade deadline getting closer and closer will CD JVG & Les pull the trigger and make a move? Or will they ride out the rest of the season w/ the same team? Please Explain your pick.

I personaly think they want to make a move but there not becuase they are gona wait for the offseason for the right trade.

    Im on your side.

Im a bit of conservative.Rockets still has 30 games on the road.Im afraid new trade will cause more instable factors. If Steve,Cat really make a difference on their attitude,id like to see them stay Rockets.

I voted yes out of pure hope. We have to do something about Cato. The guy is a quality center in todays NBA, but he just doesn't fit our team. The only positive he brings is that he backs up Yao, which is a lot of minutes. I am for any trade that sends Cato back east for either a starting 3 or 4. If we could get a 3, I would move JJ to the 2 and Cat to the bench where he and Mo would give us the highest scoring bench in the L.

I think they would pull the trigger if the right offer is available, but at this time SF value is not high. No team in the league would want to take his max salary for an excellent player but not superstar.

    Why I say no

    -Steve is BYC until summer
-This is the first season of JVG's reign
-One of the top defenses in the league
-Steve is playing well, and is finding his role after it being dramatically altered on day 1
-Trading a franchise player is never something to be done lightly, unless you get an all-star in return, it tends to bite you
-Trade exception will be more helpful in the summer with sign&trade scenarios
-No glaring position need since Cato/Taylor have been effective

What are you talking about? Cato is the only thing remotely close to a physical player that we have.

Jeez, Steve only shows up to play the good teams and hits the tittie bars when we play the Miamis of the league and all of a sudden he´s untradeable.

BYC not a factor thanks to trade exception.

Still, it is less likely we trade him just for the possible implosion factor. Not that we have chemistry now, but we could have even less.
