If it doesn't, I see nothing that could prevent the Rockets from dropping up to 12 straight, as the schedule is very tough from this point on. A win, however, would be a nice way to end the millenium for the Rockets, and could very well lead to a winning streak. So, will the streak end?
I think it will. Its about bloody time.

I think it might end. Dallas is feeling good right now and they might overlook us. Also, we match up pretty well with them. Nash has played well but Steve still has the advantage, Shandon will lock down Finley, Nowitzki is the only guy that will kill us cause Walt's about the worst defensive 3 in the league, Mo can hold his own at the 4, and there centers arent scaring anybody. Being optimistic, Ill predict Rockets 98 Mavs 92

Just for the sake of accuracy, I'll point out that Nowitzki has been playing the PF spot all year.

Dallas has been starting a front line of Bradley, Nowitzki and Finley for most of the year. They're currently starting Eisley and Nash in the backcourt. In the previous game against the Rockets, Nash was hurt and Hubert Davis started in his place. That means that Nowitzki is matched up against Taylor and Finley will be matched with Williams. Williams could very well get torched, but it would be by Finley, not Nowitzki.

The Rockets better win tomorrow, cuz if we lose tomorroow then we also lose against Cleveland and Utah and we could be looking at a 9 game losing streak. It would be very demoralizing for us to go into the new year with a 7 game losing streak.

On the other hand, beating a team like dallas will boost the rocket's morale and could end up in a possible 3 game winning streak. I really hope that we can beat them mavs.

And for those experts out there, is cato gonna play tomorrow???

Last time we played Dallas, Finley had 22 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 steals. I wouldn't call that being locked down.

This game will be tough, but I think playing during the day will allow us to break out of our funk.

I predict the Rockets will blow a 31 point lead, but hold on for the win.
