If you voted yes, please explain who you think the Rox should tade & who for.

I think we are going to move Swift... w/ Chucky breaking out, he is filling the whole at the pf spot Swift was suppose to. We should move him for Earl Watson!

    I voted no.

They may actually make a move, but it's not like it would be anything of note.

I mean, who's left on the trading block that we could get that would really make waves?

And the pick isn't likely on the table ...

Swift's value has bottomed out ...

expiring contracts? No one seems to care unless it's to unload complete and utter crap ...

We'll see I guess, but my expectations are looooooow.

the responses are not really relating to the question.

    question should be more like

do you think yao ming is attractive?

    - yes i do
    - no i don't

I hope they will move, but I don't know...it's not like they still got a lot of chances to battle for a playoff spot...we'll see

If no, Les should seriously think of firing CD.

No matter it's for this season or next season, you have to make some changes.

It will be stupid to just let Wesley and Norris contract expiring and not getting anything valuable back.

If JVG decided not to play Swift anymore, you better try quickly to trade him for anything.

No way CD gets fired this soon, even if we dont make a move...

If we choose to stick with Wesley and Norris, its not necessarily the end of the world for us...their contracts still come off our cap at season's end...

It does look like Swift will be out the door sooner than later, although I'm willing to give him the whole season...he's been playing well lately, he just needs to get his attitude in check...

If CD choose to let their contract expire, Rockets still only have MLE to spend in the offseason.

Save money is not going to work for a team aim at championship. You should at least spend 65 millions on the roster to be competitive unless you have some superior scouts like Mavericks or Spurs has.

If JVG and CD are not happy about Swift, they still should let him play to keep some trade value.

Just put him on the inactive list will let any team in the league know he is a bust.

We're obviously going to move whomever we offered Indiana for Artest.

I'm thinking Swift, Wesley, DA, Moochie, etc., hopefully not Head, but who knows... Alston's not safe either IMO...

One thing's for sure though (and comforting at least to me) is that Les and CD will not stand pat on mediocrity, no matter how many "hustle points" JVG gives this squad... i.e. Bowen is JVG's boy, nuff said

In the next year, we'll need a replacement for Dike, a STARTING shooting guard, a QUALITY backup SF for T-Mac, a BANGER PF, and a PASS-FIRST, DEFENSIVE-MINDED PG on the right side of 30.

Why not start now, the draft is in June: Reddick, Aldrige, S. Williams, Gay, Morrison, one of which will be available when we pick...

    Thoughts?

I believe we will make a move, but as CD pointed out, the trading season started late and given this we may end up having to wait till the offseason.

Unfortunately, I see players like LaFrentz, Jamal Crawford and Fortson being the type of guys we would bring in.

Should Rox make A Move Before the Trade Deadline? Hell yeah! Get a decent shooter to replace Wesley at the very first.

The mgt needs to energize the fan base. Ingredients for a short term fix and long term doldrums?

    I voted "yes".

All the NBA executives will be in town for the All Star weekend. Then you might see some wheeling and dealing.

I wouldn't be surprised if we keep Stromile as backup 5/4. Our biggest trade asset is a likely lottery pick and expiring contracts.

I voted yes. Kinda of see some combination of Wesley, Moochie and Howard. I see the rockets holding on to their current youth and trying to get younger.

We're at halftime and way down. It's time to bring in Bobby Boucher to lead us to victory in the Bourbon Bowl. Or his mother. Or maybe Chuck Hayes is our Bobby Boucher! :D
