Even though Yao is out, the next 3 games are against Memphis, Denver and Indiana, all at home. All winnable games. If the Rockets win them all, it would be a new franchise record for a winning streak. Do you think they can do it?
If Denver were a road game, I'd be pretty pessimistic about that one (natural home advantage for the Nuggets, plus the mile high aspect) but since it's at home I think our guys will step up and take it. I never had much doubt about the Memphis and Indiana games. Hopefully the team stays focused. I don't see how they couldn't, considering the cirumstances.
I really dont think that's difficult for this team. MEM has nothing. DEN prefers 2 on 5 basketball. IND has nothing.
The key is taking it one game at a time and not assuming any of them are gimmes. One would think with Yao out of the lineup, the Rockets would never take any win for granted.
Denver is going to be a tough win. Camby is apt to go berserk on Scola. LS has been great, but he's not been strong with his boardwork. Glassman could have a field day matched against him. Carmelo's post game is going to be a tall order for Shane to keep under wraps - maybe Landry can help some if he posts. The one thing heavily in our favor is that Denver's D has been atrocious lately. Almost anyone can and has rung them up for 110 the past few weeks. Evan
We can... But like it or not everything is on T-Mac hands. And if he play like the game with Wizards...
We almost lost and should of lost to Indiana earlier this season in case anybody forgot, but I think we might lose that Denver game since Melo and AI love to go to the basket. AI was doing it at will this season vs the Rox , and now we dont have Yao. I hope Rox win all 3 but I dont think its going to happen.
Rockets are playing like a well oiled machine, so I say yes they will win all these games. The key to Rockets is that they can play D and that is what will get them these games. I can't wait to see how the experts react when the Rockets make the playoffs.
Out of them three......One will be a clutch deciding performance by one of the teams to pull it out.......Do we have that left?......Will mcgrady step up? Or will he dish it out to Novak for a three?............ I think it will be against the Pacers......Mcgrady can drive on anybody on that team....... But will he....
I hope so. Denver is the key. We really need to win that game. I think we definitely have the ability to win them all. How come so many "no" votes?
