It makes sense: New Era New Building New Jerseys please!!! All it needs is, the type from the logo, the number underneath, with a thick stipe on each side-NO PINSTRIPES!
i think that the rockets are getting new jerseys when the move to the new arena. (i hope this is true bc the jerseys we have now are horrible)
They are taking votes on the new uniforms on the website. Of course this is meaningless. They will go with what they feel is the most marketable choice. I think most are voting to bring back ketchup and mustard and you know that'll never happen.

What does Blue and Red have to do with Rockets? The retro uni's certainly wouldn't be near as laughable as today's. I think with a little modernization they'd look nice. Yet another lineup thread...change the damn uni's already so they will die.
IMHO I think the long shorts look stupid on players of such an athletic nature. A good length would be a compromise between the short length ie: John Stocton and the exteme length worn by some teams. Also the long length is so old fashioned ie: Boys Bloomers of the early 20th. century.
the Rockets should have silver mylar uniforms like the fembots on Austin Powers....er, maybe not. Rocket kilts? Just a thought..
I don't think we should go back to the old unis, but a couple games a year they should wear retro. I think that might sell some tickets. The logo is a horrible mix with the pinstripes. I'd like to meet the person that had the final say on those. (that was not a threat, I would just give em' h-ll)
red and gold may not be as marketable or the "in thing" but's it tradition. 4 finals, 2 championships,4 division titles. Great Rocket players Moses,RudyT,Calvin,Hakeem and Clyde.Enough said.

I totally agree. a modified version of the old unis would be just fine. successful franchises like LA,boston,chicago,Ny don't completely change colors. I'd like to think the Rockets as a successful traditional franchise.
I think the ne wjerseys shold be simmilar to current, but with no pinstripes and logo. Just Rockets..or HOuston across the top and the number. dark blue... kind of like i think it was Rocketkid's francis picture on the other forum with pictures.
