I could see them getting to 15-0 for sure. They're simply on fire and they have just 1 road game in their way, although several of them are against good teams. On paper, I could see them going 20-0'ish, but teams trip up unexpectedly all the time.

It'll be interesting to watch, but I wouldn't put money on it.

They have one damn easy schechule to start off with. But I don't expect them to break the 15-0 record. The Lakers are good, but they are not the best yet. I give them credit for the win against us and Hornets, nothing else. They have yet to play legit contenders yet.

I think if they finish this week with all wins, they will probably do it, the other 10 games are very easy.

Barring injury, I think they will. Also, the 15-0 record is shared by the Rockets and the Washington Capitols. The funny thing with the Capitols is they won the first 15 games and went 23-22 the rest of the way.

I saw that, too.. WTF? Between Nov. 6 and Nov. 24 we play 11 games, 9 of which are on the road against teams like Phoneix, Lakers, Spurs, Blazers, and spurs. We've already played the current champions (Boston).. had to play Dallas on the road...

Lakers' schedule is very very soft compared to ours.

at least it will catch up with them later in the season. I'd rather have a hard start than a hard finish. rockets have a relatively mild finish

It all evens out, no reason to get angry. Their schedule is soft now, but they'll be facing all the tougher teams later on when chemistry and early season rustiness is no longer an issue. I'd rather have our schedule.....get your major tests out of the way early, learn from your mistakes, then roll into the playoffs on a major high.

Also, tonight's game against the Pistons is going to be one of MAJOR intrigue. The Pistons are playing good basketball now that they've acclimated themselves with Iverson, and I think this is going to be a big hurdle for the Lakers to overcome. However, if the Lakers win this game by 10+, I really don't see them losing before 20-0.

Detroit will take them tonight... if not then the Lakers could be working their way to beat our 22.

Disagree, when the team has lots of new faces and injuries, it is better to have an easy schedule to start while the players get used to the system.

No, I don't think so. There have been plenty of teams that have had the talent to start 15-0 or to get a streak of 22 together. It doesn't happen often because the team loses focus and beats itself. Certainly, the Lakers are good enough to get the streak, but they'll take a night off somewhere and get the L to mess it up. Kobe has the discipline to bring it every night for a month, but does Bynum, Pau, Odom?

We are damn lucky to be playing the spurs as they currently are. Maybe you'd like to play all our games against them later when Ginobli and Parker are back in top form?

And yes, we played the lakers. That means they played us too. We were supposed to be one of the tough games on their schedule, not a 29 point punching bag. They beat us, Dallas, and New Orleans in less than a week. Let's not play the blame game when it comes to the schedule.
