I haven't heard anything yet. I'm hoping someone televises it, even if its the Cowboys Silverstar Network.

According to CBS 11 in Dallas, there will be a pregame show at 7 PM followed by the scrimmage starting at 7:30 PM on Friday.

This is good news because there will be TV. Hopefully some station will pick up the Silverstar Network's coverage (like Ch. 51).

According to the Dallas Cowboys web site (dallascowboys.com), there will be a live Video Stream of the scrimmage. Hopefully, it will be on TV too. I'm trying to find a Silver Star Network website, with a listing of possible Houston TV stations.

Thanks Smokey, you're right -- it's on Friday (tomorrow!) night. However, KNWS is showing another Astros vs. Expos game on Friday night. Houston Chronicle says there won't be TV, but it will be on KILT radio (610-AM).

Oh thanks for the heads up Curly. I did a quick search of Austin yesterday at TV Guide.com and quickly put Grande Com the first choice as my cable provider even though I have Time Warner. I thought they had the same channel selection but just noticed Grande Com doesn't have KVC 13.

I was following a link from the Texans web site yesterday. It took me to a Ch 13 (ABC in Houston) web site. This site had 2 refrences to a tape delay showing of the scrimmage. 1 @ 10:35 PM on friday night and the other on Saturday at 2pm both on Ch. 13.

That's weak...why is 13 airing highlights AFTER the freakin' scrimmage even though other cities are showing it live? If they are going to call themselves the "Official Station of the Texans" they should prove it.

I'm with oldschool, this is week.

If it is being shown in Dallas and Austin it should be on TV here.

    Come on ABC, Step up.

Actually I'm surprised the Texans (KTRK) are not televising the scrimmage for themselves. Austin and Dallas are picking up the Cowboys coverage. Hopefully some station in Houston also picks up the Cowboys coverage.

I called the Texans office about this issue and they told me that the problem is between the NFL and Ch 13. CBS has a contract to air all AFC regular season games. The pre season is a case by case basis. KTRK ABC will air the Texans preseason games. Apparently they did not pay to air the scrimmage as CBS in Dallas has.

This isn't even preseason football, fellas....this is a freaking scrimmage. They're going to have field goal practice during the middle of it...we're talking about each kicker getting a few attempts from different distances...not exactly compelling TV unless you're a hard core fan. Though I wish it were on TV, I understand why a scrimmage wouldn't be shown.

By the way..got my tickets yesterday...they look great! Woo hoo!
