After Stevie got 2nd in the dunk contest, he claimed that he loved the atmosphere and wanted to make the all-star team next year and would work hard to make it. I don't know if he is going to make it. The West has a lot of great PF's that will fill the roster (Webber, Malone, Wallace, Duncan??, unless he goes to Orlando), Garnett could also play PF. So I don't think there will be room for many PG's. The starting back court for next year's West All Star team will probably be Kobe(fan Favorite, but I hate his guts) and either Payton or Kidd. That means either Payton or Kidd will be on the bench, depending on who starts. this year there was no other PG other than Payton and Kidd, so do you think Francis can change that and make it on the team next year. Or do you think that the coaches won't give a 2nd year player that kind of respect?
Non sense! Francis would've made the All Star game last year if he weren't a Rookie. Kidd made the All -star game in his second year. and he wasn't then as good as he is now. so i think Francis is sure to be there ------------------ Ostertag for Three!!!!!
I have to think he will. Normally a second year player at the point guard position would not have a prayer especially with Stockton guaranteed to be on it in his last season. The wildcard is that it is in Maryland. You have to believe the NBA will do everything it can do to get Franchise into the game. ------------------
Man Francis will prolly get voted into the starting lineup. Remember, the fans decide the starting lineup. And with all the excitement and flash that Francis brings to the table, he's much more fun to watch than Payton or Kidd. I also think the NBA would try to do anything to get Franchise in the All Star Game. They wanna promote their new stars. ------------------ treasurer of the moochie norris fan club
