Will Stevie give Yao a facial next year?

It shouldnt be too hard. Yao cant jump more than 4 inches.

 

I think Francis is too small to dunk on Yao. Yao gets dunked on by big guys like Jerome James or Amare. Kobe is at least 6'7", so he did it too. Who was the last person under 6'5" to dunk on Yao?

 

If not next year, certainly at some point. Simple matter of statistical probabilitiy.

 

Actually, I don't think Yao's ever been dunked on by a player under 6'5".

 

I guess it has to do with the fact that Yao steps up to stop the ball, and then the guard passes to a big man, who dunks it just as Yao gets into position to receive the facial.

 

He hasn't and the last time Francis tried to dunk on a big guy last year he nearly broke his shoulder(Dampier I think it was) . I don't think steve will be dunking on any big guys for the rest of his career, let alone Yao. Not unless he wants the magic to be without his services for 4-6 weeks...

What would happen if lets say someone like Andrew DQ got in a fight with Yao..what would Steve do?

 

Yao is going to swat that sh*t back. SF will be taken by McGrady. Maybe T-Mac will jam in SF's grill.

 

I think T-Mac will posterize Cato pretty good.

 

I think Francis will at least try to dunk on Yao. Do you guys remember the game when Francis literally jumped over Baron Davis? Francis and Baron are pretty close too. Francis will probably try a windmill over Yao.

 

Yao will block him more than he dunks.

 

I believe it was Jahidi White. In a previous game Franchise posterized White, and I think White saw another one coming and made sure it would not happen.

I always admired SF's determination. I think it was when he was a rookie, he kept trying to dunk on Alonzo Mourning and every time Mourning sent him back. That guy Mourning was a beast. If he was healthy now, he would be a great banger to have next to Yao. If Okafor is said to be in the mode of Mourning, then the Bobcats will really enjoy watching that guy play ... just don't pick up the current version of Larry Johnson (Glenn Robinson?) and Mugsy (Lue) ... that would be destined to fail.

 

Yao and Francis are friends....that being said, yes. If not a facial, one of those circus shots he made against Shaq. 3pt plays are better anyway...

 

I think yao seems to get dunked on more is because he contests every dunk instead of some defenders that get out of the way so they don't get facialed and get on a poster.

He doesn't back down from anyone and plays defense first not worrying about being postersized.

 

I'm not sure, but I think steve is a class guy...but that doesn't mean he'll do it...
