Will Steve or Yao get the calls this season?

    Does anybody know how referees call for JVG-coached teams during games? Do referees call a lot of fouls for Ewing or against Ewing?

    I know Phil Jackson is an excellent coach in nudging referees to call fouls for Shaq. I am not sure how Yao or Steve will get the calls this season.

    They both already do. You can tell during the preseason that the refs are trying to protect Yao because he had a few obvious fouls passed to Cato to keep him out of foul trouble. Yao is now a star and will get the star treatment.
