I dont understand how anyone can give Will Smith's rap career crap. He's one of the only rappers that made it without promoting drug's, violence, gangs or making up some story about being in the ghetto growing up. He just rapped about what he knew. The fact that all of his music is so up-beat and clean is what made him unique.... just my 2 cents

This was the from the first CD I ever owned.

 

Not gonna lie, I had that album when I was a little kid. I don't think his rap career is that bad, maybe a bit cheesy, as people seem to perceive it. But like some have already mentioned, he does well not rapping about the typical for the genre. Plus it all worked out great for the guy anyway, he has like 100 movies in the works.
