    http://www.nba.com/article/2018/02/17/jason-kidd-steve-nash-among-finalists-hall-fame-class-2018#/

"Previous finalists included again this year for consideration are four-time NBA All-Star Maurice Cheeks, the only coach in NCAA history to be named Conference Coach of the Year in four different conferences Charles “Lefty” Driesell, 28-year NBA referee Hugh Evans, two-time NCAA National Championship Coach of Baylor Kim Mulkey, two-time NBA Champion coach Rudy Tomjanovich, five-time NBA All-Star Chris Webber and 10-time AAU National Champions Wayland Baptist University."

Sending positive vibes to Rudy T to make the HOF this year. He is absurdly deserving as a player and a coach.

We are with you Rudy! You are a Hall of Famer in our hearts. We could have never won the NBA Championships without you.

Didn’t even realize he wasn’t in. Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming are in the HOF but Rudy Tomjanovich isn’t, apparently. Why even have a HOF for basketball if that’s the case?

Why do people care about this charade? This typical American obessession with fame with the Hollywood stars walk bull, sports halls full of names that has no significance whatsoever.

Go tell the weeping winners and their families every single year that it has no significance. It means an awful lot and Rudy and his family deserve the honor for a life spent dedicated to the game some of us love.

They are lead to believe it’s important, but it shouldn’t. I think Rudy is one of those people who gets that.

Hopefully one day I will be as enlightened as you.

We care because we love Rudy T.

It’s not about being enlightened, it’s about recognising you do not need the approval or recognition of anyone else.

Perhaps you don't. But not everybody feels the same way. And there's nothing wrong with that.

I would genuinely like to hear what their f**king reasoning for voting Mo Cheeks in over Rudy T. People seem to ignore the fact that Rudy T was a 5 time all star as a player (would have been 6 if not for the cheap shot)

We know the actual reason, Cheeks was a Philly guy and the east coast bias is strong, but I would like them to be forced to defend something this indefensible.

The basketball HOF is a real sideshow with little credibility, but it's still aggravating.

They don't "need it", but it is nice and makes them happy.

You don't feel good when you get a pat on the back by hundreds of your peers heroes that you have looked up to your whole life?

    It's cool. So drop it.

Yes, I get that it’s nice, but when you hear fans talk about it and former players - the outrage - then you’d think it’s as if we’re talking MVP award or something. That is also not that relevant but has implications for attracting other players etc. You catch my drift ;)

Point taken, but would be good if people worried less about others in general. In the end what matters is your own perception and Rudy knows what he did. He also has plenty of support around the league so that should feel good.
