Simple question....what do you guys think the Suns will do Monday night?

Will they rest their starters some, a lot, or not at all?

Will they play to win, or play it safe for the playoffs?

    Time for a poll.

I think they will play it safe and give Nash time for his shoulder to heal and Amare some time off for his knees....

That is what I hope they do anyway !!

I think they have their eye out for Nash. He's 33 and logged a lot of minutes. He may sit out and Barbosa may start. My guess.

They'll definitely play it safe. They want their starters as well rested and uninjured as possible to prime themselves for a NBA championship run. Their fatigue was probably a big factor in their NBA conf. finals loss against the Mavericks last year

What? Tomorrow night? The Rockets still have to win to secure homecourt....

The Rockets NEED this game to secure Home Court. Yao and T-Mac will play.

We need either a Utah Jazz loss versus the Jailblazers tomorrow or a Rockets win tomorrow to clinch homecourt.

I think it's unlikely the Jazz will lose, but given their recent play of late, who knows...

Either way, I want homecourt to be clinched by tomorrow so we can rest our starters vs. j*zz in our final game

If we win tomorrow...then this should be our rotation for the final game.

    1. Lucas
    2. Snyder
    3. Novak
    4. Howard
    5. Big Jake

    6. VSpan
    7. Deke
    8. Hayes

TMAC, Yao, Rafer and Battier shouldn't even have to fly to Utah.

Yeah, if we win tomorrow, we can play our bench against the j*zz to get our bench players acquainted with our first round enemies...or if the j*zz play their bench too, we prevent them from getting acquainted with our starters.

It'll probably be a game where both teams don't really execute their true game plans against one another

Regardless of how many minutes their starters play, I will be very happy if we win. Last time I checked, D'Antoni is still their coach. He plays an 8-man rotation right? Just like JVG if that's true. Their starters will play at least 30+ minutes tomorrow.

However, it doesn't matter who D'Antoni puts out there. The system will stay constant. Their system is what has been beating us consistently, not necessarily the specific mix of players on their roster.

As long as the Suns are playing Phoenix Suns' style of basketball, it will be hard fought game. We as fans should take much pride if we win, not to mention the fact that with a win vs Phoenix, Rockets will have beaten every team in the NBA.

At the same time, there better not be a total meltdown here if we lose...

If we rack up a big lead, then I'd guess Phx would rest their starters. Otherwise, they would likely put us in our place and keep the psychological dominance they've been building for the past 2 seasons.

Yeah, because of course, the Jazz have no idea who Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming are. They have no idea about how JVG approaches defense. Also, Jazz should bench their starters, because we have no idea that they will run pick and roll plays down our throats. We've never heard of Carlos Boozer and Deron Williams, and we've never seen Derek Fisher make a big shot... ever.

Give me a break. JVG will give his starters big minutes because he wants us to be playing at our best game going into the playoffs.
