Will Kevin Martin become an All-star with the Chinese vote, next year?

We saw how an injured T-Mac make the All-star game on the Chinese vote.
Do you think Yao Ming's fans will vote Kevin Martin into the All-star game next year?

he aint nearly as popular as Mac is in China. AB is having an all-star year and he still didn't get voted in. Better start going with Yao Ming and doing events with him there in China.

Probably depends on the Yao-Martin relationship. With Tracy, it was obvious that they were good friends, who hung out. To me, Martin doesn't seem like the kind of guy who is going to make a huge effort to hang with a guy like Yao.

By your logic Landry and/or Brooks should've been in the ASG this year.

100% Put it on the board.

If Yao Ming plays along Kevin next year he's a for sure All-Star

All depends on how well he is playing next year. The Chinese vote can only count for so much. He needs some American/other votes as well to actually make it. I feel like it's probably unlikely unless he has a stellar season because the West is so loaded with guards. Deron Williams benefited a lot from so many players getting injured (CP3, Kobe, BRoy, etc). And this is D-Will we're talking about, 2nd best PG in the league. If he has a difficult time making the all-star game, then Kevin Martin will probably have an even more difficult time.

Or he makes it because he'll be a 20+ppg scorer on a contending team...

    Kevin Martin is all-star caliber.

He certainly will. If he is anywhere close to last years form in a Rockets uni, he will be a starter on the all star team.

You don't think the Chinese all-star voting for T-Mac was standing in D-Will's way?

Going to be hard with Kobe...but it is possible if he puts up his usual numbers.

Starter is a reach. He'll be a reserve, if anything. Maybe make it in on another player's injury.

There are 2 guard spots to vote for. T-Mac and Kobe had the most votes for West guards until the last week's vote swing to Nash.

Yep, but there are a ton of great Guards it's going to be difficult.

He's going to have to put up the numbers he put up last season, i'm not doubting him or anything.

T-mac didn't put up any numbers and was leading all guards except Kobe until January.

Not sure if it was noticeable, but Yao hasn't played this year, so less Chinese people cared.
