Will Hakeem be honored at Super Bowl Opening Festivities?

    Does anyone know if Hakeem will be honored at the SuperBowl Opening Festivities?
    I heard that there will be an event that will include 38 of the greatest Houston Sports heroes passing a football down a line and that this football will go on display somewhere in town.
    I believe Nolan Ryan and Mary Lou Retton were mentioned but no Dream?!?!?

    They are announcing one every day between now and January 25. People like Earl Campbell, Calvin Muphy, Nolan Ryan and others are already on the list. No doubt Hakeem will be on there as well. We just won't know until they announce it.

    Is he living in Jordan now?

    And maybe this is for another forum, but I think Hakeem should the last one with that football (representing the #1 Houston athlete).

    If Hakeem will attend he is a no brainer. He's the most successful team sport Houston athlete of them all.

    Im happy, but not surprised that Dream is on that list.

    I was not aware he is in Jordan?

    Dream is great and all but I woudn't be surprise if he didn't show. The whole tribute thing doesn't seem like Dream's thing.

    He was only vacationing in Jordan. I heard Clyde and Rudy were being honored as well so it should be a good reunion.
