If he stays healthy and can improve his numbers some, I don't think there is any doubt. Plus, people love dunk highlights and he has plenty.
I think he and Iverson will be the backcourt in 2004. That should be against the olympic rules to have Francis and Iverson in the same backcourt.
that won't happen, cause they're both short....starting both is something they wouldn't do, but they cane definately both be on the roster......I'm thinking more Courtney Alexander and Francis......... ------------------
I can imagine Brand, Odom, ad Franics all on the 2004 team. That is if Odom keeps improving, but Im sure Brand and Francis will.
I don't see why it would matter if Iverson and Francis are short because the rest of the world ain't too much taller, and I don't think that the Olympics would have Iverson because doesn't the NBA help chose the team? I feel that the NBA (David Stern and co.) don't like Iverson. They did have Sir Charles though. ------------------ Cuttino Mobley Online www.Rockets2000.net [This message has been edited by FrancisFan (edited August 30, 2000).]
I don't think Iverson will be on the 2004 olympic team cause of his bad boy image. Just like Latrell Sprewell will never be on an olmpic team. My guess for the 2004 olmympic team would be this: C-Tim Duncan PF-Kevin Garnett SF-Vince Carter SG-Kobe Bryant PG-Jason Kidd Bench:Chris Webber Michael Finley Tracy Mcgrady Antonio McDyess Steve Francis Elton Brand Ray Allen Those are my guesses, Ray Allen is the only proven outside shooter on the team. ------------------ "See they pick and pick and pick. Man they picked me to death." -Steve Francis on the Utah Jazz
Francis, Brand, and Odom......WOW, imagine them on one team any time soon....... How about this for the Olympics: Francis Kobe Odom Brand Eddie "baby shaq" Curry ------------------
I want to see this lineup in the 2004 Olympics: Duncan Odom Hughes (3rd favorite player) Iverson (2nd favorite player) Francis (favorite player)
