In case you weren't aware, Will Ferrell approached the Pabst Beer Company late last year asking to do a commercial for them, for free, for the Superbowl, on the condition that they only air the TV spot for Old Milwaukee in North Platte, Nebraska. Why? Because Davenport seemed like an Old Milwaukee kind of town. Two weeks ago TV spots for Old Milwaukee started appearing on Swedish television channels, although it still remains unclear if Old Milwaukee even is sold in Sweden. My only quibble is that you may be confusing Old Milwaukee with Milwaukee's Best. The 2nd one was often called "The Beast," I believe. But maybe it varies from college to college.
