For those of you who haven't read my "Can I be a Rockets fan and Jazz fan the same time???" thread http://bbs.clutchcity.net/php3/showthread.php?s=&threadid=48943
in which I got lynched and buried by you fellas, I want you know I go to BYU, which is in Utah, and it's soooooooooooo painful that I can't watch the Rockets games (can't afford those League Pass, NBA TV and stuff):( , and I am so angrified (is that a word? ok, pissed) that the Rockets has only TWO games left in the years to be broadcasted on national television, and there is no national coverage whatsoever after Feburary.   Damn it, the Wolves have 6, the Sonics have 7 and the reeling Clippers have 5, and don't they (ESPN/CNN) realize there will be way better ratings for the Rockets games than theirs?

I am just wondering if there is a possibility that they will add more Rockets games as the season goes on. I know they did that last years (they cut some Rockets games since we stunk and Wizards games since Jordan injured, and add more games for others teams.) And if they do that, when during the year do they usually make such decision???

You better stop being "angrified" before BYU finds out about this and kick you out of school.

In case of danger, look for the Big "Y" in the mountain.

I feel you pain, jamal. I am a transplanted Texan here in LA. You think you had it bad. I had to put up with all the Faker's crap since I moved here 4 years ago.

With the Yao mania, I think we will see more Rox games on national TV. Hopefully, it will happen very soon.

Looking at the schedule the March 2 game against the Spurs has been dropped from Telemundo. One option is to find a good sports bar that will show the games and go watch them there, that's what I have to do since I can't get league pass.

    And the Jazz suck.

I agree....I am in TEXAS!!! And i am not able to watch any rockets games. NO national tv..and no radio..
too many games on the local tv station in houston, I remember when i was down in houston back in 1998-99 the had so many games on FSSW and ESPN and barely anythingon local WB39, and now, that i have left the city it is the exact opposite...

I don't think that there will be a very big improvement. They only show a small percentage of Rocket games in China. They are trying to sell the NBA, not Yao Ming, unfortunately for us Rockets fans.

    Yeah they do actually.

    Lakers ESPN : Jan 17
Dallas NBA TV : Jan 21
    Dallas ESPN : Jan 29
Sac NBA TV : Feb 2
Boston NBA TV : Feb 24
San Antonio NBA TV : March 2
New Jersey NBA TV : March 31

Because a lot of those popped up but only a few weeks ago, I bet they will add some more down the line.

last season when the rockets had hig expectations they were to have 4 natinal games or something but after the losing streak they're remaining games were canceled both i think for more coverage on mj's comeback. i wouldn't be surprised if they added some rockets games due to yao's popularity. they did it to us last season so they should just quit showing bad teams play.toronto is a perfect example.
