The mag is offering the curvy pop star a seven-figure fee to pose in the buff, says a source. “PLAYBOY IS DESPERATE to get her,” says the insider. “She’s this generation’s sex symbol.” And, argues the source, she’s already done provocative poses for Esquire and Rolling Stone, “so why not the original girlie mag?” Spears’ spokeswoman didn’t return calls. When called for comment, a Playboy rep told The Scoop, “Britney is a beautiful young woman” but the magazine had no further comment.
I'm sure she will eventually. As long as she's making enough money with her regular career, though, posing would do more harm than good. Wait until she becomes a little less popular and then it will happen.
I think she should. But those playboy pictures are edited so much anyway, do you really think you would see more than what you have already seen? Now if she was going to do the Paris Hilton thing....

What's the best and/or fastest selling Playboy issue ever? What ever it/they is/are I'd put money on a Britney Spears issue beating both...the day the issue came out!

Umm, she makes $46 million a year(according to Forbes). The amount Playboy offered is probably chump change to Ms. Spears.
once they start raking in the money, nothing will stop them from taking in an additional couple million dollars.....
Hell, she already kissed Madonna so she is trying to get rid of her good girl image. Not to mention that, her idol, Madonna has already possed in Playboy. I think she'll do it and I'll be one of the first in line to buy.
