Nice and Short I'd have to say yes he would.
Even with this loss the Vikings are a team with a ton of talent, and minus mental errors are capable of winning a superbowl.

There is no other team I see as a possible option for Favre. Nor do I see why he wouldn't want to come back unless the NFL has just become to grueling for him.

The Vikings best option for next season is Brett Favre
Brett Favres best option for next season is the Vikings.

If Brett still wants to go for another ring ideally he comes back again with the Vikings for another year.

Not to mention he wants to bolster more career stats IE: 70,000 Yards passing.

Initially no, then yes, then probably not, then maybe, then training camp is over, and finally yes.

I dont think he says no, because the Vikings wont a put a limit date to him to make his choice, so when he say he is not sure, and in august, he will say yes, and the vikes will recieve him with arms wide open.

Exactly - get ready for a lot of waffling this off-season and non-stop coverage of it by ESPN in the progress. Yipee!

Yeah, they will have to wheel this guy out before he quits. He may be un-clutch but he's one Hell of a Football player.

The last of a dieing breed.

    Could go either way.

He looked broken after yesterday's game. He was limping and you could just see he was aching all over. I could see him saying "OK, that was my shot and we didn't do it, time to go home."

Of course, Brett could decide that the Vikings are a great team and could go back next year and just go for it again in the uncapped year.

    Hard to say really.

Everyone cares, he's a transcendent American sports figure.

But jeez, he got hit so many times and so hard yesterday. I just don't know if he can muster up an 18 game commitment.

On the last interception, I think Porter was just out of his peripheral vision and Rice looked open. But there is a reason you don't throw back across the field and across your body.

The gun slinger went down blazing.
(he could have just loped out of bounds)

Vikings were the best team in the NFC and just shot themselves in the foot over and over. I think he comes back.

Brett's done. He's getting tired of chasing this dream year after year. This was his best shot and he blew it.

dude doesn't know how to retire. i think he always said it is about how he felt physically. just cause he got beat up this one game ("pants on the ground") doesn't mean much of anything. he had a great year and can obviously still play. i doubt he wants to go out like that. definitely plays again and, if he claims to retire, will unretire. no point in him going through training camp, though. he might as well retire for that period anyway. training camp for veteran qbs like favre is apparently overrated.
