I could not beleive that Boki did not get any playing time last year. What was Rudy thinking? Do you think that now with JVG as the coach he will give Boki a shot? I sure hope so, he should be a starting SF if it was my choice. Will he get the playing time this year? I'm hoping he goes to the Summer League and lights it up.

Rudy is legend , and aparently a good guy.
I a little bit doubt his ability for developing young telant.

I got to beleive that one way or another Glen RIce will not play 1 game for the Rockets this season. That will leave us with Posey (I think we will re sign him) and Nachbar at the 3. Posey will probaly be the starter, but I could see Boki getting a consistent 15-20 minutes a game.

I am not so sure the Rockets should re-sign Posey. I am sick of all the overpayed players the Rockets have. Moochie, Cato, Taylor. How are we going to have a Championship team with all these underachieving, overpaid players. I'm not saying Posey is like that, because he is not. But I would not even re-sign him for what Moochie is making, around 6 years 22 million. If Posey wants too much, let him walk. I would like for him to stay though, but would be happy if they give Boki a shot at be the starter. Boki will prove he is a future SF, by tearing up the summer league.

i got this strange vibe that rice will end his career here in houston. but who knows?! i also had this feeling about dream and he unfortunately ends it with toronto. well, i hope jvg sees the potential rudy saw in boki and i hope jvg utilize it and make the best out of it.

Boki didn't exactly earn playing time. If he was tearing it up in practice, I seriously doubt Rudy would have held him out, especially when they were struggling.

Lots of things happened to the rockets this past year that didn't make any sense, this was one of them

rockets by nature don't make moves that make sense...

hopefully, JVG will put an end to this nonsense

Posey would be one player who is worth a Moochie contract, but he'll probably get less. He's one hell of a player.

Did you watch when Boki actually did play? No defense, whatsoever. Rice could stay with his man better than Boki did. THAT's why he didn't play. Maybe his injury set him back, I sure hope so. I'm looking forward to summer league.

Really? Time and time again you say? You shure it just wasn't one time during the draft when he was compared to Peja?

I have to agree. I am as curious as anyone to see him play, but comparing him to Peja without seeing the guy play a game is absurd. Unless you have lived in Italy and have seen him play on a nightly basis, how can you be sure he is the next Peja. I agree with how the Rocks handled him. He had a groin injury that required surgery to repair. I am glad they let him heal. Look at Dickerson, he has hardly played the last couple of years due to a recurrent groin injury. If the Rockets would have pushed Boki out there a he reinjured it I am sure that all the people b****in about him not playing would be b****in that Rudy ruined him by rushing him back.

Boki played like the last minutes of the games when he was in. And only when the Rockets were blowing somebody out or the other way around. Of what I saw of Boki I liked. He would attack the basket, play smart, never forced a shot. Just Please give Boki a shot, JVG, don't trade him away.

I have this strange feeling that the Rockets worked Boki out and saw him hit 22 of 25 from downtown and asked him if he could dunk and then decided to draft him.

Nope, Boki was a proven player in Europe. He got his team to the final four(in Eurpoe, not NCAA). He was a go to guy on that European team.

I thought Boki was a back up who never played on his team. I thought he was just drafted on potential cause he is young. Are you sure he was a key member?

I've been doing some researching, the euro stats are hard to read. I found a list of the League leaders and Nachbar isnt in the top 50 for minutes played or for points per game. Here is the site if you want to check it out.

    http://ok.kalnieciai.lt/el0102/teams/stats/points.htm

It doesnt look like he was much of a leader. I pretty sure he sat the bench pretty much like he did for us last season. If i remember right, he said he didnt mind the bench too much cause he was used to it from overseas.
