Clearly BJones has been waiting for this victory longer than most of us, the question is, will he be gracious in victory, or will he rub it in? What do you guys think? Batman...what do you say? DD
Hmm... good question. I'm hoping for gracious but it's hard to say for sure. I am in one hell of a good mood (just found out I got a grant for my girlfriend and I to stage a play in Kosovo this summer and then there's that election stuff too), and that tends to manifest itself in graciousness, but if history's a predictor I guess it's hard to be sure. Maybe I'll let the poll decide.
I voted yes, that you will be satisfied with the victory and understand the hurt the other side will feel. I know you are a man of compassion. And also a man who understands the fun of this poll. DD
Thanks for the vote of confidence, Max. I think that'll probably push me over the edge in favoring the better angel.
Today could be one of the best days ever...Obama winning and the Rockets smushing the Celtics....what fun ! I wish I could get to Houston to hit BJones party, it would be a blast. DD
In 2004, Jeff had a very stern warning about gloating after the Bush Victory. No such warning this time around. Huh. The_Conquistador has always prided himself for humility during times of victory and graciousness during times of defeat. It's the mark of character. Most Obama supporters that I've witnessed around here will have a hard time behaving themselves in the event of an Obama win.
I find it funny that it is a matter of faith, and so far, Max and I are the only one's with faith.... How ironic is that? At least from my perspective. DD
^Add RMT to that list. That's 3 people on record saying I'll be gracious but only two actually voting that way... Hmm... Bradley effect?
