Jermaine Taylor might (if he makes the team)

He is used to being the first option on a team.

    haha hell no!!

How ever, to the question: "Will any of our players have a 30+ game in the Summer League", I answer: Yes.

A likely scenario for one of the rookies scoring 25+ is the possibility of Morey wanting to showcase them for a trade at the deadline.

I realize it's a silly question, but we're stuck between draft day and the start of free agency, so what the hell. :)

And for the record, I voted Yes, since I think there's a decent chance the Rockets don't re-sign Crazy Pills or Wafer.

Anything's possible! My money's on Chase Budinger since he'll probably be the only rookie seeing minutes if Von or Ron decides to leave.

I voted no for this exact reason actually. We have a balanced team where ideally everyone gets involved.

If any of our rookies have an explosion during summer league, they'll be traded before the regular season.

Bud used to be a lottery level-draft pick, but his stock dropped after his face got stepped on by the UH Coogs. This reminds me of Donte Greene all over again, except T-Mac will probably go with him.

25 points is a lot, and I don't think any of the rookies did it in 2008 season with Luis Scola, Carl Landry, and Aaron Brooks, so my guess is no.

Has Von Wafer scored 25+ for us last season?

If he has (I really can't remember), then there's a small chance that Jermaine could.

If Wafer hasn't been able to do it, I don't think one of these rookies can.

I could easily see Buddinger droping 25 on a night when he was hot from the promised land...

    Aaron Brooks 22 pts
    Carl Landry 22 pts
    Luis Scola 24 pts

All three got within 1 shot of 25 pts in their rookie years.Carl Landry would have needed an "And 1" shot.

Jermaine Taylor has a chance. If a player is hot, Adelman keeps them in the game. He doesn't care, if they are rookies.
