Ha. I still had to go to the site copy and paste the link. Then post the thread. I'm tired. That's enough hard work for today...
Eh? Why would you want to do all that? All you have to do is read from what JuLiO-R- posted. It is exactly the same. You must be really tired.
Yep, I misunderstood you. I know what you mean after I saw you posted the link. Sorry, maybe I'm the one who is tired. I think I should take a rest from posting.
With our luck as the most injured team in the NBA, we could probably do well with a 20 man roster if the league let us have one that big.
well i would be inclined to believe that with this many guards being brought in that Bob Sura is not coming back this year. no way to prove it right now but if one reads between the lines...
Thanks Julio. I'm too lazy to click links. As for Sura, I don't think anyone -- not the Rockets, not Sura -- know if he's done or not. So, I don't really know what the Rockets are thinking. I have to assume that Buike and Jacobsen are just high-priced camp fodder.
I'd agree. Nobody knows Sura's condition. As such, the Rockets would be insane to rely on him. Our biggest weakness was low shooting %. We are bring in guys to hit open shots. If Sura is ready and can contribute, he'll have a spot. If he isn't ready, we got plan B, C, D, E and F lined up. If Sura pans out, you simply cut some of the non-guarenteed contracts. Not Rocket science (snicker).
I'm not capologist but isn't the Sura move to preserve the right to package him in a trade with Juwan for someone, perhaps Rashard Lewis? They could throw in Head and after the trade Sura retires. If he cannot play for us, isn't this recent press conference stunt to show he is still attempting a comeback? if he cannot play, can't he be traded and THEN retire? If so, his salary could help package our players for someone else and then his retirement could help the team traded to like an expiring contract? I'm hoping he can play like he did two years ago, but if that's likely then why all the other guards being signed?
Dude, seriously! Sura and Juwan for Rashard? What are you smoking? Our biggest problem last season was lack of outside shooting threats. Given that we don't have a single reliable outside threat, we are signing a bunch of guys, throwing them against a wall and seeing which ones will stick. Simple as that. After we widdle down the roster, we can always pick up a big body for PF after the season starts. In the meantime, we need to shore-up our outside shooting.
It is not that I am too lazy to click on links, but I like to read what the link says and posters comments in one screen (not to mention not click on some other site and maybe get their popups/cookies/ads, etc). So posting the link AND the relevant text that is to be part of the discussion is what I like to see.
I hope so as we need someone to back up Yao. Through in Bowen, our 2015 2nd round pick and cash considerations....
We could possibly do that, but I doubt Sura worked so hard on rehabbing just so that he be a cog in a transaction for the Rockets' sake. I think Sura at least means to play again.
i'm definitely not a link person so way to go Julio-R. if there's just a link in the initial post, i'll just start reading the thread and try to piece the story together based on people's responses, all the while hoping i'll eventually run into a post where someone copied and pasted the article. only if i get to the end and no one did post it and i still need to know more, only then will i click the link out of desperation.
