    When you go into messages, and try to send a message, it'll list your console number (assuming you're connected to the internet with your Wii)

    You know you can send your Wii an e-mail using the address w[insert your Wii's # here]@wii.com ???

    For example, one might be: w12345678910112@wii.com

    So if I wanted to pick up a Wii right now could I walk into a store and have a good chance of getting one?

    I had given the Gamecube a chance but got annoyed with the lack of titles for it.

    Not likely. I took the longer route back to my house down Westheimer tonight. I stopped and found nothing at:

    *Target Westchase
    *Walmart Royal Oaks
    *EB Games Royal Oaks - they said they would have some Friday but "get here early because we've told a lot of people...". They open at 7 Friday.
    *EB Games West Oaks Mall

    I also called Best Buy at Gessner/59...nothing. ToysRUs on Westheimer said they were offering rain checks.

    Yeah, and the GC controller works on the Wii too. For most people, they can finally see their GC games in progressive scan on the Wii with component cables....
