So, I finally broke down and got myself a Wii a couple of weeks ago and it's great. I need help with the bowling, though. As long as my wife hasn't had a bit too much wine...she wins. Period. My high score is 207 but I struggle to hit 200...how can I throw strikes more consistently? Anybody got any pointers or tricks?
I tend to start off 3 clicks to the right and release really high while flicking my wrist left. avg. score 250
I practice at least 4 times a week with at least 3 games per practice. I can now beat my wife by an average of 15 points. I recommend you try hitting the bowling alleys habitually for about a month or two. You'll see rapid improvements in your Wii bowling guaranteed!
Thanks guys, I'm gonna practice some more and try different starting points on the lane as well I suppose. Can anybody suggest any other good Wii games? I'm about to get the Zelda game....I had about 8 others but they all sucked so I sold them on eBay.
Mario Kart that one Star Wars apprentice game Ben 10, seriously, it's surprisingly enjoyable Spiderman friend or foe Tiger Woods golf game
like someone said 3 clicks to the right. i dont curve my arm. i go straight from back to all the way up and twist my hand at the end. in my opinion you get better by playing by yourself then with other people. because you can do the same motion over and over and see what works. i got 2 straight perfect 300 scores once and havent played it much since but i dont own the system it was my friends.
Looked up "No More Heroes" and it looks GREAT. I'm also going to get a copy of "Okami", heard it's another excellent adult-geared Wii game.
anybody have any suggestions for wii games for kids at about 5 years old? I want to buy my nephew a game, but not too complicated so that he gets frustrated.
Boom Blox or its sequel (Block Party?) are real good and simple. He should be able to get it at 5yo. Just hold down z and let it go mid throwing motion. Lots of visuals if done right too.
great games and easy for anyone. Also heard de Blob was really easy and entertaining. There is a game called Elebits that is fairly simple and fun, however the later stages are pretty difficult.
