In the past couple of year I've seen the Rockets blow so many healthy third and fourth quarter leads and this last one hurts a lot because Phoenix moves another game ahead of Houston in the playoff hunt. The games which I do seem them lose the lead to are usually against the top teams in the league or when playoff implications are a matter like tonight. Why in the world can Houston not keep a lead, especially when it counts so much? ------------------ Arkansas' Biggest Rocket Fan!
It has NOTHING to do with Rudy's substitutions. The Rockets have blown leads the past two years because they've been led by rookies or near-rookies that entire time. They don't know how to play under pressure and with the game on the line. This playoff run is a good chance for them to feel what it is like. ------------------ fArt don't pay the rent.
BTW: ZRB, what exactly is a "third string" in basketball? That would imply the Rockets have 3 sets of 5 players, which they don't. ------------------ fArt don't pay the rent.
Alright, second string. Moochie, Walt, during Crunch time? That is just bad coaching. ------------------ Re-elect President Gore!
But there shouldn't be any pressure you're up by 16 why can you not maintain that lead? ------------------ Arkansas' Biggest Rocket Fan!
Not when you cannot stop the other team or get a rebound. I don't have a problem with walt being in the game as long as we are behind. I do have a problem when you are wasting one of your rebounders and defenders by using Moochie. HE BRINGS NOTHING TO THE 4th QUARTER. ------------------ Tennessee is a suburb of Houston. Go Oilers....
