It may be premature, but assuming the sniper(s) are the ones that have been caught, I would like to know WHY they did this? Any theories?

    Possible answers:

    A. He's Muslim
    B. He may have hated the US, because of his abrupt discharge from the military.
    C. His life sucks and he's bored.
    D. He likes shooting a rifle.
    E. He's a sociopath.
    F. He's a psychopath.
    G. He's poor and wanted more money.
    H. He saw one too many movies.

Choose whichever ones you want. Am I leaving any possibilities out?

I must admit, this is not how I envisioned the sniper(s) to look:

One of those news websites was trying to point the finger at video games, like Counterstrike, yet again. If they had their way, then the only games we would be playing are dress up barbie and dance like britney bs.

Oh, to go to Mr. Gatti's and see chunky men with no beat sweating and dancing on those dance games...it's almost enough to make you lose your appetite...

There's a new book out called "Dear Mr. President" by a Gulf War vet named Gabe Hudson. Book of surreal short stories related to life after the return to the US. Not a happy, pro-US book. Hudson supposedly mailed this to Mr. Bush, and Bush called it "absurd and unpatriotic" or some such. I have no idea what it's like to be a vet of any conflict, but I don't envy these guys. Here's a link for the book:

    Dear Mr. President (includes reviews)

    and here's Hudson's site:

Yeah, if you don't lose it after making a pass through the buffet.
