Other than the loud grunts from the females, there's really no reason to tune in this year. http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,5-2006290273,00.html By CAROLINE IGGULDEN KILLJOY tennis chiefs have outlawed skimpy outfits at this year’s Wimbledon, which starts today. They want spectators to keep their eye on the ball, not on the athletic figures of the gorgeous female players. So they have issued a strict new dress code banning gear deemed too sexy or low-cut. That means a bevy of babes must cover up. What a glaring fault — especially when you check the form of stars like former champ Maria Sharapova. Another Russian, world No 8 Elena Dementieva, shouldn’t be playing under cover, nor should fashion-conscious compatriot Maria Kirilenko (below), who will be wearing Stella McCartney gear. Then there’s Daniela Hantuchova. Once nicknamed the Slovakian Skeleton, she’s looking ace now.
I've never noticed the female players outfits being too skimpy...I mean it is tennis after all, you do have to be able to move around. Now one reason it won't suck this year... One of the last remaining chances to see Agassi play; and his last Wimbledon.
You'll be able to catch a lot of the matches that aren't being televised here: http://www.wimbledon.org/live
Look...toss everything out and just concentrate on watching a guy that may very well rival Borg as the greatest of all time...Enjoy Federer while we can.
Let's not take this too far now. I think a good place to start would just to be doing more image searchs on the Net for women tennis players.
Early round matches of interest. Britain's hometown hero Henman won his 1st round match only to have to face Federer in the 2nd round. Guess he'll jus to wait another year. Agassi was down early but appears to have pulled back. If all holds well he'll be facing Nadal in the 3rd round. As for the women. Who cares!! just turn down the volume and enjoy the legs
Am I the only one who finds this WAY too skinny? I seriously do not want to see pelvic bones protruding. To each his own and all I guess. One legitimate issue here, however, is that they announced this rule now. I hope they informed players long before the tournament. What are players supposed to do if they were informed a day before play begins??? Do they just go out an buy new wardrobes? It's not as if every tennis player is wealthy.
She's listed at 5'9 132lbs. Doesn't seem too skinny to me. She just has low body fat that's all. Most professional players have clothing endorsements. Even if they don't, I'm sure they have basic tennis whites. I know that even I have basic tennis whites. At wimbledon, that's pretty much all you can wear anyway because of their tradition. NOW THIS IS TOO THIN!! But she has put on weight since then so it's not too bad now.
Its just you. I figure the only reason you see her pelvic bone is because she is stretching that side of her body.
I want girls that look like these tennis players grunting and jiggling. I don't see that one skinemax...plus I don't get Skinemax anymore.
