    Why we can't keep Asik?

Our defense was suffering a lot in recent games. To be honest, other 29 teams can get over 100 points from us in any night. DH is still great for protecting the rim, but only one player is not enough if we want to go deep in the playoff.

If we let Asik go, we are not a better team than last year.

Not sure if Asik was being punished for talking out of turn or what, but it's not like Terrence Jones was stymieng Carmelo and his 45 points when Dwight was out.

Thanks. We were in dire need of yet another Asik thread even though there are like 4 on the main page alone. Keep up the good work.

Twin towers do not work and Asik wants to be a starter, what can we do?

in this world, taking care of yourself is the first. it is nothing wrong with it. asik wants to be a starter and plays meaningful minutes. he deserves to be a starter from the last year performance. everyone knows TT won't work to begin with except McHale and some ppl here. asik also knows it. although he started in first few games, he knows rox just tried to please him instead really think it works. he knows eventually rox has to give it up. it means he will come off the bench and will play limited minutes.

I completely understand his trade request. it makes every sense.
