I'm not sure whether Tracy McGrady is doing the right thing. If his knee is as bad as it is now that had affected his game that much, WHY he is avoiding doing a MRI qucik to find out what's wrong with it. If it is that bad that he needs to take a surgery or some other medical treatment to fix it, and even it means he has to sit out and nurse it out for 1 to 2 months, then he should do it quick, instead of trying to play limping. By doing so, he will only be aggravating his knee, as well as hurting his team by not able to drive and penetrate but just keep laying bricks and jacking up jumpers all over the places. By taking the MRI and find out what's wrong with his knee, and quickly fix it now and come back later might be better for the team. Do you guys agree ??
He's definitely faking it. If he was really hurt, he would have gotten a MRI the day he was injured. If he shot 5/10 that night, he would never have sat out. If he was injured, why would he go up that high to block Nelson's layup. He just quit, plain and simple. The same way he quit the Magic before we got him.
maybe he is worried we'll be like the wizards. star player goes down, everyone steps up and wins just come along with it. but seriously, i have no idea why he is not taking a MRI, we are doing terrible with/without him.
No, we should ship McGrady to the Astros. Because it is evident that he doesn't care about basketball. He has always loved baseball, and wanted to be a major league pitcher. This is the only reason I can think of to explain why he looks so uninterested while playing basketball. Baseball is the perfect sport for a lazy a**hole like him!
Yeah, this is probably the tipping point. If Tracy is shipped out, I think we'll look back on this as the beginning of the end. It's absurd that the Rockets aren't forcing the issue. Unless a trade is going down and this is all a smoke screen.
I guess that he kind of had a feeling that some of cancer patients would have. Those cancer patients would totally collapse in a very short time if they know that they've really got cancer. They would live much longer if they don't know the fact. However, the positive thing of knowing early is that there's higher chance that you could be cured. Maybe a bad comparison. But some people (TMac here) just don't like to face the reality.
I could see Lance Berkman playing the 4. We could throw in head too. I heard they were looking for a batboy.
I think y'all are being a bit reactionary. T-mac is trying to play through an injury, the COACHES and medical staff shut him down, he was obviously limping...i know he may have problems with intensity and focus, but this episode is not indicitive of any of that.
I guess it's like getting tested for HIV. On one hand, if the results were to be positive, he has to change his life immediately. On the other, if the results were to be negative, life goes on as if the tests were never performed in the first place. But, in my opinion, he should listen to the likes of Richard Jefferson, Kyle Korver, and Jaime Foxx. <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/1M1Hm4Rg7pU&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/1M1Hm4Rg7pU&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
thanks for the translation Pryuen.. oh wait, it's not a translation I have no idea what Tmac is doing or trying to do.. I don't even know what he is thinking ever since the start of the season.. I really think there is something wrong, something with the organization, something with the coach, something with Francis, something with Rafer, I don't know.. it's really weird, he has never behaved the way he is right now in any of his 3 years with the Rockets.. all I know is, he needs to stop playing mind games and come out and be honest (not dumb, no "it's on me" material).. he just needs to express himself and say what he needs to say, it's just painful to watch him right now..
Jesus Christ... how many "Is TMac actually injured" threads do we need? At least this one has ****ing colored fonts.
We will trade for Roger Clemens after the Astros sign him... at least he really cared about the game and he tried to come back from injury ASAP
Sorry, I like TMac and all, but this is freakin' insane. His comments about not having an MRI because he might find out something bad — that's ludicrous. It is COMPLETELY irresponsible if taken at face value. I can't imagine any one owner or GM in the league being OK with that. Also, remember one thing — 2 years ago when TMac missed half the season, he had some leg problems immediately before his back went sideways. I would wager that could have had a lot to do with his back being compromised. All the more reason, I think, to exercise every precaution right now. Just ridiculous.
How is this a "is Tmac actually injured" thread? Pryuen is just asking why Tmac doesn't get an MRI done, makes sense...
From watching him on the court last night, it seems like he's injured. He really couldn't move that well last night.
there are 600 other threads discussing this incident where the original post could've fit: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=139707 http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=139708 http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=139686 those are just the ones on the front page..
