Werent you the guy that started the thread about how we were screwed because the Cardinals supposedly won the game against the Padres (only to later lose) Nice job there, the Chicago Tribune is proudly watching and marveling at your brilliant journalism. The odds are still against us but the Cards are snowballing into failure. They're past Carpenter and Suppan meaning we're getting into the heart of the crap that they call a pitching rotation. Now that everyone figured out that if you just pitch around Pujols that the Cards won't score, I think the Padres and Brewers will be fine. Also, I believe the Brew Crew have won 4 in a row and 7 of their last 10 (including taking 2 out of 3 from the Cards last week)
Have you seen the Cardinals play over the course of the last month?? They've been pretty non-discriminatory as to who they lose to. They've lost 7 straight. They had their ace on the mound last night, and he gave up the game.....and gave up another game to the Astros. 1.5 out with 6 to play. we were 8.5 with 13 to play.
Apparently the regulars haven't caught on to the whole reverse karma thing yet... Astros suck! Fire Garner!
