Steve and Cuttino are going to be EXTREMELy important in the development of Yao. There is no doubt that Yao will need a crash course on the tough/physical NBA game... Who better to teach him the ropes than stevie? Being a Clippers fan first (sorry guys Im from LA) I remember Quentin Richardson watching Ming and saying something like Yea we (the clippers could take him) and Me and soem of teh other guys can toughen him up.

I think Francis has to take this same approach. If he steadily b****es about the situation, tyhat wont help Yao, and will only ostracize him. Hopefully Stevie can play a Nash role and Yao will be like Nowitzki...
At least yao trying to mimick Stevies hair wouldnt be that bad huh?

It would be great (kind of ) to see Yao in baggy jeans and a backwards cap...getting a little attitude on him.

Now is a great time to have Vetrans like willis and rice to also help in Yaos development. The Rockets team will have to rally around Yao..and realize that he has some potential that they can nurture or destroy...

PS...Wouldnt now be a great time to have Hakeem around still...
Man oh man...if he was still there and willing to help...WHOAH

I think yao wont be too much of a post threat his 1st year...
he seems more like anowitzki player...not as strong...but who cares if he doesnt go inside? who is going to block yao's 20 footer??? He will probably get clipped on the elbow billions of times on his jumpshots and then head to the free throw line where he shoots 70%...Yippeee.

Not to metion, they are the best back-court in the NBA. I like to refer to them as the "Wonder Twins." you can thank rocKHEAD for that nic-name.
