I saw this article after I got back from my 5:00 AM jog, and it made my day. Threw in a poll for good measure. Britishy link
I went from being a night owl slug who regularly went to bed at 2am or later to somebody who gets up at 6am at the latest. I have to say I like the latter better.
certainly not the night owl i use to be, but still i'm still not the best morning person. I would love to work out in the mornings but that is something i've just never been able to do.
I call BS. Morning people are not more proactive than night owls. The reason why morning-peeps are more successful is because Humans are afraid of the dark. We are more fearful when we can't see. So people who wake up early morning have more time to do **** cause it's light outside so they win. People who wake up late but sleep late, too bad you can't farm at night, you lose.
I'm definitely a night person. I'd rather stay up late than wake up early. I never schedule anything before 10 a.m.
I am a night guy and I pwn at a leet level (bringing em back, why not). Those who stay late get noticed, those that are up early... nobody notices.
I am both. I stay up very late at night and get up early in the morning. The guys at our Dubai office call me "the man that never sleeps".
Evening person definitely. Get to work at 8am but I just check emails, phone messages, internet etc. till 8:30 or 9. I need to ease into my day. People who are all bright and chipper ready to have meetings at 8am are sociopaths.
I don't think I'm either - or maybe I'm both. I go to sleep late and wake up early. I thought giving up coffee and soft drinks would help, but nope. Now I go to bed around 2-2:30am, wake up around 5:30-6 with no caffeine. Given the choice, I love working and thinking at night, though.
i meet clients from the early morning to late nights, i must say, the rich successful one`s usually show up... in the mornings. coincidence?
I noticed this too. Not to say the ones that want to meet or show up later aren't successful but I definitely noticed a lot of my top clients/prospects want to meet first thing in the morning. Perhaps it's cause they got **** to do during the day time as well.
Evenings. 3pm-11pm shift is preferable, but I'd rather work nights than be in at 7am-8am. I like it dark and quiet, and not having to worry about/deal with traffic is awesome. Count me in with the 'I don't get morning people' crowd.
