Why is Rudy T at every Rocket's home game?

Not that I have any problem with it, but why has Rudy T been sitting courtside at every Rocket's home game this year? I know he's getting paid $5 million a year to scout for LA.

So it begs the question, is there a potential deal with LA in the works? Or is he just kicking back and watching the home team play while collecting checks from jerry buss? Seems a bit odd.

He's scouting mostly WC teams. They all come through Houston so he sits here most of the time. He goes on I think 3 road trips to scout eastern conference teams that don't come to houston.

They say why he's here every time they interview him. He lives here and he's scouting for the Lakers. It stands to reason then, that if he can scout opposing teams in his hometown, he's going to.

Obviously he still considers Houston his home.
Even though he is still collecting paychecks with LA on it.
Is there anyway we can buy out his contract from the Lakers???
It would truely suck to get matched up with LA in the playoffs and Rudy T is able to hand over a seasons worth of scouting reports.
