Is there something wrong with Steve Francis? I mean if he's your Franchise player you damn well better play him with 5 miutes left in the game .

Umm... are you talking about the game against the Warriors? Uh, Francis didn't play in the game at all... he was injured.

I think he's talking about the games where Francis has been playing. This is also a mystery to me. It seems that Francis is not allowed to touch the ball in the fourth quarter. Rudy seems to like Moochie, as he has gotten minutes far above that of an average reserve point guard. Shandon isn't allowed on the court in crunch time, so Rudy leaves Moochie in. I like Mooch, but not for more than 15 minutes a game. And those 15 minutes should not include 12 fourth quarter minutes.

couldnt agree more ZRB. I like Moochie but whenever they go small ball and Steve moves to the 2 mooch controls the game and Steve stands around watching.Steve needs to have the ball in his hands at the end of games

I feel Moochie is among the best backup PGs in the league. Not many come to mind that are better. Look at other backup PGs-maybe guys like Childs, Jacque Vaughn, Anthony Carter. No one else sticks out in my mind. We easily have the best backup backcourt in Moochie-Mobley in the league.

    Shandon is underrated.

I agree that Moochie is among the best backup PGs, but that still doesn't mean he should handle the ball throughout the entire fourth quarter. If Francis isn't going to shoot, then he should be the one running the team.

He is in there because he runs the offense better than anyone on the team at this point and has the best handles of any of our guards...even Francis. There I said it again. Flame away, but opponents underestimate Moochie. He can get to the basket without being doubleteamed more than Francis and is very skilled at creating contact. Think, how many 3 point plays do you see per game from Moochie driving to the basket??

I'm not saying we ditch Steve or Mobley in the 4th for Moochie, but he is in there for a reason, his ball handling skills and control of the offense.

Now, only if Mobley were 6'7"....hmmmmmm.
