down a handful , with 3 mins left in the game .... why the hell is Melo in over green ? Green has been making his 3's ... Melo has not . Green is a better individual defender Green has been with the team longer and is a better team defender . There is no excuse for that choice .
Melo should barely be playing, much less closing out games. I will never understand Morey's thinking this offseason.
I think I'm coming around to this idea . If he hasn't adjusted by the time Paul comes back then he's not going to , because when Paul comes back he's going to have the ball even less . I also think we should start him . Not to give into him ... but start him and then bench him one minute into the game and not play him the rest of the game . He hasn't earned any minutes . I'd rather give Clark , hartenstein , Qi , or my stool his minutes .
This season?!?! I've been saying it on here since the photoshopped Melo jersey in the locker room Morey's obsession with players like Melo are headscratching af since he's a smart guy. At one point he was willing to trade away valuable players for him (just 2 seasons ago actually)
I don't think Melo is being used properly. Harden and Chris take all the shots which they should but I am not sure if Melo is in the right spots or what it is but it will come around. At least I hope so.

Melo is a 10+ year veteran . He needs to put himself in the "right spots" . James and Chris are setting him up with open 3's .... how much better a look can he want . We've even given him post opportunities... which he has also bricked
all you guys saying melo needs to be bench or cut is out of yall minds its not his fault he always getting the ball in a bad situation at the end of the shot clock no plays go through him Harden just dribbles the ball the entire shot clock so maybe if they run plays for him you would see a different result
delusional MELOOFs like H-Town Melo: Melo is not used to shooting open shots after playing with Westbrook, and his defense isn’t even that bad. If u add an extra made field goal per game for Melo all of the sudden he’s a 40% shooter, and that percentage will only rise as the season goes along.
I'd play Gerald over Melo anyday to finish a game. Not sure about this. But i definitely agree here, having him out there when you have to play defense in crunch time doesn't look like a great decision, hate to say it but defensively he doesn't really look better than Anderson, maybe he's even worse, at least Ryan took few charges here and there lol
It's only been 3 games and this one on the tail end of a back-to-back without CP3. If Melo still looks like this by game #25, then yes, time to worry, but please, let's give the team to figure things out first.
