first he disappears against Shaq for the past few years in the play-offs...

and now he can't even muster up the courage or heart to play against the Suns?!?!?!?!?

Robinson is my definition of choker...

didn't olajuwan school him numerous times...

I thought he played against the Suns yesterday. He is a good guy, but I lost all respect for him (as a basketball player) when Hakeem undressed him in broad daylight.

Yes Hakeem did rape him in '95, but he did the best he could possibly do on a terrible back against the Suns.
    31 minutes, 8/8, 18 points, 9 rebounds.
Do you really expect more than that from D. Robinson at this point in his career?

Should be asking where the hell Tim Duncan was.
Amare outplayed him like he was Hakeem and Timmy was Robinson.
Well, not that bad..........but Timmy was seriously outplayed.

I don't think DR has that killer instinct for basketball.

He is a smart guy, has many other things going for him and realizes that there are many more important things in life than basketball. After hearing his interviews, my impression is that even if he were never in the NBA, it wouldn't matter that much to him.

    TORN CARTILAGE?!?!?!

    WTF!?!?!?

there goes the Spurs hopes to win a championship... they needed his 6 fouls on shaq... god knows he can't stop shaq, but at least he could have fouled him..

damn.. that old fool is useless

Wow. I think you need to calm down dude...the guy is one of the nicest gentleman in the game and he is by no means a scrub. He has a torn cartilage in his knee...i SERIOUSLY doubt you would be playing too. Oh, and try telling Tim Duncan or Popovich how "uselss" Robinson is

Agreed. I hate the Spurs, but you have to admire a guy like Robinson. He is nothing but a class act.

David Robinson is a wimp because he's not just a member of the Oprah Winfery book club, he's the president.

he has given so much to the San Antonio Community. Paid 2 grand for every student that graduated from a local highschool for College Tuition. After giving a speech to support students to go to college, he then gave them all the checks.

Hell of a guy. D rob, lets not forget he is old. ANd last nhight? He did great.

The great ones do well then things are going bad. The average ones do well when things are going great.

Robinson is a supporting player. Not a leader. He lacks the killer instinct.

I really hope that Yao doesn't play like Robinson.

I want Yao to play like Hakeem or Shaq.
    Mean!

That's no his nature, and I would hope Spurs fans (which I'm not) know that by now. The same can be said for TD.

Well, TD showed me something tonight.

    Guts! Under pressure!

But he has yet to show me heart!

Heart = winning a game you are supposed to lose; coming back from 15 down in the 4th...not giving up when all hope seems lost...etc....

"The roses are out Timmy. Not the daises"

On the court, he's the mermaid. Off the court, no one can say one bad word about the guy.

Didn't San Antonio already win a championship. Why is anyone questioning these players. They've proven they have what it takes.
