I would like to know since we ALL saw how the Portland shot clock operator clearly didn't start the clock on time.. WHY has the NBA not said a word?

I know it wouldn't matter the Rocket will still has lost the game, but I am sick of all these NO Brain fans saying he got the shot off in time, and how great of shot it was..

You answered your own question. It wouldn't matter, the Rockets will still have lost the game. As the NBA, why stir additional controversy?

Because the league and pretty much the world is against the Rockets. It's us against everyone. Even PETA is against the Rockets.

The NBA just gets really excited sometimes. That's all.

Time to move on (No pun intended) and get ready for yet again another off season of getting new players on the team.

Clock NEVER starts on time. Move on fam. If I can get over it within the second it went through the basket, you can too!

I started a thread on this too without checking the timing myself...

Clock DID start late, but i timed the shot in real-time from the moment he caught the ball to the point the shot left his hand - the timings i got varied between 0.48 to 0.71 - so regardless of the clock starting late or not, he would have gotten the shot off in time regardless.

Time to let it go and accept that the better team won.

Did the Rockets get their segment of gone fishing on TNT's Inside The NBA? I didn't see it.

    Home Court Advantage.

This isn't the first time this has happened. If it was the Toyota Center and it was one of ours who shot it, we would be applauding the TC time keeper.

Because they can't help that the clock operator is human and not a machine with instantaneous reaction times.

The NBA recognizes that .4 seconds is all you need to catch and shoot.

Because he got the shot off in time. Do you want them to issue a statement that they've reviewed the play and everything was fine?

It pissed me off when people say "the better team won".

Were it not for missed calls in game 1 & 4, the Rockets win that series. But we're all just supposed to forget and accept.
