The guy is an amazing cold blooded offensive player which gets a lot of people talking about him as MVP. The thing is to be MVP you don't have to be a master at defense, but you sure as hell can not zone out as much as he does. You know he has the skills to be a decent defensive player. A lot of these plays are really just pure laziness on the defensive end. Trust me there are plenty of amazing offensive players that are bad at defense......but a lot of them at least still give effort....Harden does not even try its amazing.

Amazing how many times this video has been spun off into new threads or posted in other threads other than the one it was originally posted in.

Where exactly has there been an 11 minute video posted on this site detailing the entire season collection of his defensive inabilities. I have seen a clip here and there but not 11 minute documenting the season.

If he does not learn to play defense I don't think he will, but for his sake I hope he just learns to play defense.

He'll get better at defense as he gets older and respects it more. If Houston ever gets to be one of the Top 2-3 teams in the league, of course Harden will be at least be "considered". Don't be silly.

I never said he would not be considered, I said I don't think he should win one until he learns to at least play defense. He has the ability...dude just zones the **** out.

Then change the title of your thread to something besides "Why Harden can never truly be considered for MVP"

Omg @ 9:25 vs the 6ers is the worst. There is a off screen between Jones and Parsons. You can clearly see Parsons signal to Harden to switch. Harden just starts day dream and never switches or does really anything...He was about as far away from his man as you can be.

Nash, Barkley, Dirk...list goes on and on. Amazing how many times this sh** comes up, when it's clear you don't need to be elite on both ends to be awarded the trophy. How can so many people post this with a straight face when they know that guys like Nash and dirk won it? Really tired of this.

Doesn't belong in the NBA dish + it's already been posted in the GARM. Get your act together Jpar.
