Would I but one? yes. Why doesnt Texas have them as an option? seems like to me if there arent Spurs or Mavs ones either, then it has something to do with Satan Stern not allowing his precious trademark to be used in a fan-friendly fashion.
I think there should be a liscence plate for all Texas sports teams since you can't have your team liscence plate cover anymore. That is the dumbest law I have ever heard of. I was written a ticket for having a Rox liscence plate covering part of the word Texas on my plates.
I was going to propose the opposite: the Texans nor any other team should get to have one. These are private businesses that are not even publically traded. Why can't Texaco have a specialized license plate? I'm fine with state institutions and charities -- actually, I don't think charities should be in there either, but I won't argue that here -- but not private companies. Btw, the license plate covers designs are being redone to make sure they abide by the new law. You'll be able to get a new one that doesn't obscure the plate.
The Rockets do not have a license plate because they don't have anybody in prison to make one. If you just wait a few months, Eddie will be there, I'm sure he can make some then.
