please enlighten me from any of the following perspectives:
    [1] NBA rules
    [2] Yao's basketball skills/styles
    [3] NBA marketing/business
    [4] Yao's off-court behaviors
    [5] Yao's personality
    [6] Yao's boss/Rox team
    [7] Culture
    [8] Race

Then what can Yao do to get the fair calls? or we should just trade him away becuase he will never get those calls.

Every year the BS calls are dropping off. NBA hates centers, thats why when shaq, Dave. R. and Dream were dominating they changed the rules. The NBA loves Yao and his 1 billion fans (but mostly the fans $$$)

We can trade the day before he retires I guess.

Stern wants nothing more than to see Yao succeed. He knows yao's success will help promote the nba even more in china. Just look at how nba rules have allowed yao to get voted into the all star game multiple times undeservingly. Seriously this whining and b****ing is getting old.

What does the All Star voting have anything to do with BS calls against Yao, and really the Rockets, in a basketball game?

Do you realize that any unfair calls against Yao hurt the Rocktets' chances of winning a basketball game?

Do you even care about the team's successes?

You appear to be the one b****ing here.

the Spurs game was just bad refs led to bad calls.
Anyone thinks that the ref have actually tone down a bit on Yao this year?
last year if anyone jumps into Yao its an automatic foul on him but this year they kinda change the rule on offensive player creating contact.

The calls have gotten better. They are trying to stick with the jumping straight up and or being still when contact is made by the offensive guy. Also if he gets a lot more ball than hand they are giving him the block. Especially if there isnt any body or arm contact. They used to call fouls when Yao would hit the shooters hand. Thats eased up a bit. And guess what, his blocked shot stats are up.

Still, after all it's said and done, Yao gave up in the SA game. Getting fronted, but after a whlie, he just stood behind his defender, hopeless. Granted, the plays RA ran should have opened him up, but you can't expect to run something for yao 100% of the time.

You are either r****ded or biased, the vote system has long existed before YAO enter the league, and there is nothing the league can do even it is the Chinese fans voted YAO into the ALLSTAR game(if you are talking about restricting votes from outside US, then other international players would be more influenced and, everybody knows how to fake a US IP address), let alone a lot of american fans voted YAO.

couldnt have said it any better. stern is the very last guy on the planet that would disrespect yao. i do agree that the refs that continue to call ridiculous fouls on yao need to be further educated...but that has nothing to do with stern and his staff. ridiculous thread.

No excuses! Yao has to step up and plays well despite not getting calls.

Moses Malone was one of the best at drawing fouls. He could definitely learn that from Moses. Being a good foul shooter, Yao makes it better than a dunk since the defender picks up a foul.
