So I'm in North Dallas and I'm using roadrunner from Timewarner. I also have NBA LP Broadband, except it actually blacksout my Rockets games  because apparently my IP address location is in Houston. I did the whole unplug for a day then replug thing and it gave me a different IP Address that was still coming out of Houston....

Anybody know how I can hide or change the location of my IP?

I'm in Austin, with ATT DSL, and Rockets games get blacked out a lot. But Spurs games come through just fine

I'm considering canceling, unless I can find a way around all the damn blackouts.

You need to fill out a problem report and give them your IP, they black out a lot of games for me too and I live in Austin....it makes no sense.

Simple answer, Houston owns Dallas. The proof is in the IP address.

Timewarner is now saying it's cuz they contract out and the IP is hosted from Houston. Any one know how I can get to watch Rockets games? Should I contact NBA.com again? What should I say or do to get them to unblockout Rockets games up here?
