That's no scientology....that's a viewpoint of the Christian Science religion...but that's different from scientologists.

and in this case, the woman says she does not belong to an organized religion or faith.

    Dear God,

Why did you let our daughter die? We prayed for you to cure her.

    Love,

    Parents

    Dear Parents,

I made Doctors that can treat her illness.

    Love,

    God

You are correct, thats Not Scientology, That would be the "Church of Christ Scientist"

here's the first paragraph from Wiki:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_of_Christ,_Scientist

The Church of Christ, Scientist was founded in 1879, in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S. by Mary Baker Eddy, the author of its distinctive book, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, which offers a unique interpretation of Christian faith. Christian Science teaches that the reality of God denies the reality of sin, sickness, death and the material world. Accounts of miraculous healing are common within the church, and adherents often refuse traditional medical treatments. The church, headquartered in Boston, with branches around the world, currently has a membership estimated at 100,000 to 400,000.

Jesus wasn't called "Great Physician" so we could deny that there are "lesser" physicians around.

Scientology is completely different than this.

Scientology was made up by science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard as a way to scam people out of money.

    This is not Scientology.

Because God helps those who help themselves?

Or possibly because a child need to be vaccinated to enter public school. And the CPR was probably a mandatory part of his training as a police officer and he became desperate when he saw his daughter dying.

IS that true Scientology thinks God is some alien, or stories of that sort?
Don't remember the details. I just remember seeing something like that in South Park.

    xenu.

he got all the humans together and blew them up all up. their spirits (thetans) entered the universe and into our bodies, that is why we have negative thoughts.

our thetan levels are measured by an E-Meter, during an audit counseling session.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xenu

(paraphrased from l. ron hubbard's writing)
xenu was an intergalactic warlord 75 million years ago. in order to deal with a galactic overpopulation problem, he rounded up billions of aliens, carted them off to earth (which was then called "Teegeeack") in spaceships that looked like DC-8 aircraft, stacked them up in volcanoes, and blew them up with H-bombs.
The alien's spirits (thetans) were blown up and wandered around. Xenu then captured them and made them watch films of things like Jesus and God over and over until they believed they were real, and this made them confused.
Meanwhile the Loyal officers (i guess these guys were some police/military dudes who were part of the government) captured Xenu and locked him behind a forcefield powered by an eternal battery.

Afterwards humans came along, and the thetans that Xenu left wandering around glomped onto them, and this is why we believe in God/Jesus/religion/etc.

Scientology claims that "auditing" with an e-meter (which is really just a messed up ohmmeter) will remove these thetans and make you a superhuman with basically super powers/heal all your diseases/etc etc etc.

In short, it's a scam. You don't learn this **** until you've paid $300,000 or more in auditing, books, and other miscellaneous stuff. And by then they've instilled a sort of self-hypnosis into you and you actually start to believe it.

Unfortunately, in order to keep the scam going, they forbid the people who know the story from telling it to people who aren't brainwashed enough to handle it yet, which is why they've done hilariously stupid things like denying Xenu is a part of their literature, yet claim copyright over it in court.
